Checked the map and found yr first stop. Switched the map to satellite view, zoomed in but couldn’t quite see you! I know that spot where you’ve stopped; it’s beautiful, but the little cemetery is terribly sad. There’s a whole family buried there, in early 1900s. They must have succumbed to Spanish Flu or something and died within a few days of each other, kids and all…
I hope your journey is a bit cheerier.
Best wishes, PP
hi ken how did you get across the gulf jump or swim? you are making good progress considering the weather we have had.

Hi! I am in the planning stage of my own journey. I am happy to see that you have planned and are in the process of living your dream. I would like to know what your family and friends thought of this adventure when you first told them. I am the only horsewoman in my family and among my friends. They think I’m crazy. What type of horses are you using, how old are they and what are there names! Good luck Ken! I will check in later…….
Ken, just heard about this from Francis. My first thought was “has his car broken down!”. Bit of a change from going to work each day. This will be a good story for a relatives reunion some time.
My tip: There is not many problems that cannot be lessened by sitting down and having a cuppa….where do you plug in the kettle though!!
See ya Ian D

Well Ken, hope you are having fun !
But I don’t think you horses have been aware how long this little ride was to be!!
Keep dry.
Hope you bought a bottle of port for those cold nights.
Cheer’s
Peter
What happens when you arrive at your destination???? do you turn around and come back? or is there going to be some form of motorised high tech transportation involved heehee
Cool horses, but the dogs hate them. Nice that u stayed down by our house right next 2 the river. Hope to see you 2 again, have a safe trip from Jayden and Chloe =)

Looks like a great adventure Ken, just two questions so far: 1) why the long face? and 2) whats the cloud cover like?
